Josep Mompou (1888-1968) was a Catalan painter who surpassed the noucentisme, with a very refined stroke and a color rooted in the fauve aesthetics, linked to the Frenchness of his family origins and his style. His work includes landscapes of the Costa Brava, Mallorca, Paris and Normandy. Interiors, still lifes and portraits.
