Jordi Freixas Cortés (1917-1984) trained at the Escuela de la Lonja and later with Francesc Labarta, distinguished pedagogue and mentor of numerous promotions of young artists. During his stay in Paris, he learned new techniques and began to exhibit in different European cities. His most typical works are landscapes with urban themes.
