Joaquim Marsillach Codony (1905-1986) entered the School of Fine Arts in 1915 and the Superior School of Landscape in 1935 in Olot, the highest educational level center in the study of landscape. His favorite subject matter was landscape, without forgetting some figures and still lifes.
