Oil on canvas representing two peasant women in Ibiza signed and dated by the author Rigoberto Soler in 1943.
Measurements: with frame 87 wide x 77’5 high cm without frame 71 x 60’5 cm.
Rigoberto Soler (1896-1968) was trained at the School of Arts and Crafts and later at the School of Fine Arts of San Carlos, both located in Valencia. In 1925 he moved to the island of Ibiza, where he painted many works with the landscape of the surroundings of Santa Eulària des Riu, where he lived. The great majority of his works are landscapes of fishermen in Ibiza.
