Description
Hineno-Zunari kabuto helmet in “sabinuri” lacquered iron, consisting of five flat plates, one of which forms the red lacquered visor, topped by a gilded metal maedate representing a closed moon. It is fitted with a “hineno-shikoro” (neck protector) composed of five brown lacquered leaves linked by dark blue cords.
18th century, Edo period (1603-1868).
